I'm sure there have been times when you may have concluded, "I can't have my heart's desire." A more truthful conclusion might be I'm not willing to invest the time or effort to have that experience. Desire is only one half of any equation; the second half is your willingness to have the experience. Which is directly related to you making an effort to experience said desires.
Suppose you wanted a better relationship with your boss, who you just don't like. The first step to a better relationship with this person might be to create a list of ten nice things about him or her.
This simple request may create resistance in your mind, making it impossible for you to complete this task. When confronted with a resistant thought or belief, it clouds our judgments, creating struggle. We must stop to see what we really want. More harmony in our lives, or to cling to a resistant thought?
Firmly held beliefs create invisible roadblocks. Until we slow down to closely inspect the root of our conflict. We will keep ourselves from experiencing our heart's desires.
Take the time to know your true intentions.
